I am sharing this website, because it's something I've found and enjoy. If you click on the "ThredUP" above, and you're a new customer you should get 10.00 off your first purchase!

I will explain how to use ThredUP and share some codes as well! :)

I know a lot of people who love shopping for clothes. I am tall hate clothes shopping. Plus now I have a lot of kids and it's hard to find clothes that fit! I'm limited by stores. Why not have all the brands in one place?

I love finding deals and ThredUP has them. So if you're like me, you may enjoy hunting down something fun. I have bought many cute designer items for my kids as well as myself!! 

Yes, I have found all sorts of stuff for myself and to my surprise everything I've bought (over 15 items) have fit with the exception of one! I've had fun choosing things I wouldn't normally buy for myself (like designer tops, dresses, etc.)

 I've got a lot more compliments on my clothes lately. PLUS as I said before, I love a good deal and deal hunting. I've done my best to explain the how I like to use the website and the ways I've found the best deals. Overall you'll need to refer to the website as things change and this is just an outline and my personal thoughts and feelings. But keep reading/scanning and I'll share ways I've scored the best deals and share deal codes with you! Normally I'd keep the information concise and not type this much... but after talking to my friends, they felt ThredUP came with a learning curve. So I want to give you some tips and pointers to, hopefully, make things easier! 

Currently one of my favorite places to shop is their outlet section.  They just added a outlet code to the mix! I've found cute things for myself and kids in this.

With the outlet you just go to the ThredUP page, click "outlet" (pick: women, juniors, girls, or boys) and search for at least 5 items. On the left you can narrow your search results to fit sizes, items (jeans, tops, pants, shorts, etc.) your searching for! You can put a little over 20 total items in your cart so if you think you like something you can either click on the heart (bottom right of the picture) which saves an item in your favorites (to view later) OR just add it to your cart to go through later! Items are typically saved for about 24:00:00 so it gives you time to look. You can search and if you find something in someone else's cart, don't fret. Love that item and watch your favorites. I've found that many do come available in time, and time out of other carts!

If you don't want to use the link, no biggie! It's not why I'm sharing this information. I'm sharing b/c I truly enjoy using ThredUP and I think you will too!

With your first purchase, here is my advice:
The downfall for ThredUP is 5.99 shipping! I HATE this about the company b/c I would buy so much more if there wasn't a shipping fee. I get it... but I hope in time they find a way to waive shipping fully!

So, when I'm referring friends my advice is to find something that you like, that costs 10.00 (or slightly more), and use the first time $10 off code. Factors in the 5.99 shipping fee and you're still getting a great deal on an item!

Example: find a shirt for 11.00 (add to basket)
use the 10 off code
it makes the item come out to 1.00
factor in shipping 5.99  = 6.99 plus tax! (if you can buy and bundle - and aren't in a hurry for your items- I recommend doing this! Read below for why. However none of my friends have been able to this on a first purchase so far.)

At this point I recommend you check out if you have another deal code you feel you can use! OR You can continue shopping! You'll still get a great deal. OR

There are two different routes to go from here.

A) If you are using another dollar off code (10 off, etc.) 

then you probably want to do like you just did AND this time choose buy and bundle option (if you're in a hurry for your times this of course isn't going to be the right option and you'll just need to choose a shipping speed to fit your needs). You will pay for shipping at this point but it gives you the ability to get free shipping should you reach it. Also, this way if you see something cute (like I always do) in the 7 day window you're not having to pay 5.99 AGAIN and kicking yourself for NOT buying and bundling. It really just holds the 5.99 shipping and lets you add items. If you DO end up spending $79+ then it covers the shipping cost and gives you even more of a discount off the first item!

Example: find jeans 14.00 (add to cart)
use another code (10 off)
=4.00 + 5.99 shipping = 9.99 + tax (buy and bundle for the next 7ish days)

find a cute shirt for 10.00, pay 10.00+ tax  (you won't pay shipping within the window if you buy and bundle b/c you already paid shipping) There shouldn't be a shipping charge showing up at all or you've done something wrong in the past purchase. 

So you pay 19.99 (+ tax) instead of having two shipping charges! I typically use this code when I only have a couple of items I'm interested in.

However, if in the provided time you DO purchase 66.00 more in items (anything over $79) and checkout which makes the clothing ITEM purchase amount

10.00
66.00
=80.00 + tax
and you shave the 5.99 off shipping above!

B) If you're using a discount code (for instance 20% off) then the best deal is for you to get all your items together and then checkout. Because the discount only applies to one order! 

I myself and my friends have not been able to bundle ship their very first purchases for whatever reason. So then I find them another code and tell them (if they plan on buying a lot of other items) to bundle ship. As I wrote about above, ThredUP has this great "Buy & Bundle" option. If you spend $79 you get free shipping. If you bundle ship they charge the shipping cost 5.99 and give you about 7 days to shop to get to that $79 spend limit. Once you hit that, your shipping fee is waived. You MUST buy & bundle within the 7 day shop to get this. However you can ship early if you are done shopping and have reached your target amount!

Still what I recommend is that, if you do plan to find a lot of cute stuff (or maybe you don't but you end up with more than anticipated), you add it to your basket and see what your total is. What I do is add to my basket and it's pretty easy to get to the $79 amount. I put it all in at one time so that I can use the best deal. These codes typically ONLY APPLY TO ONE ORDER! So a % off is best applied at one time! :)

SOMETIMES you can do a 10.00 off, checkout and then on the next order use a % off. It's been hit or miss for me so don't bank on being able to do this!
