This summer, we have committed to hosting a little Ukrainian girl in our home for SIX WEEKS! We get to shower her with love, as a family, and give her a taste of American culture. We are SO EXCITED!!!

We've done it! As of January we are officially on the wait list!!! We're waiting for our daughter (and possibly a sibling) from Ethiopia! It'll be a long wait but we're excited!

An Update

We now have our completed homestudy, went to Gladney training for those adopting older children, and had our CIS fingerprints taken! Now all that's left is getting the prints back, sending our packet off to be authenticated, translated, and given to MOWA! We'll be on the wait list soon! Can't wait! But... until that time I have two wonderful boys who keep me more then busy! 

We are currently waiting for our homestudy to be finished (the lady who did it has been on vacation) and then our USCIS finger print appointment should be scheduled soon. Our house sold just in time and we no longer have that holding us back!
