I got my MG Baby diaper in the mail today from BHO aka Baby Half Off!! I'm so excited to try out this diaper and review it. This would be cute on a boy or girl; which is great as our family expands as we won't have to buy more diapers!
The first thing I noticed were the cute snaps on this black one! I love that they are different colors. This will be great as my baby
moves up in size—I’ll never have to guess what level of snap we were last at.
Also this is a great idea because if someone else is changing my child
(husband, mom, etc.) I can just tell them to “tighten the diaper to the
________(insert color here) and _____ (insert color) snap”.

I’ve been cloth diapering for AT LEAST a year and have bought
several different kinds of diapers. So, another thing I noticed right off the
bat were the great inserts… TWO of them—they have 4 layers of bamboo!! I
have two boys and they are big wetter’s so if the diaper doesn’t come equipped
with decent inserts we have to change diapers every few minutes or be subjected
to leaks. These really hold up, especially around nap/bed time!
I like the opening for the inserts- it stretches a lot and
has a wide opening when stretched. It was hard to take a picture of, but it
opens really wide. This is as far as I can show b/c I’m stretching the diaper
with one hand and taking a picture with the other.
I have had problems with some (not these) diapers when trying to put the inserts back into them because the opening was pretty small. This one will be no problem, its very stretchy and opens enough that I would be surprised if any hand size had problems getting the inserts in. This means my husband can help once the laundry is clean... Awesome!
When trying out the snaps I noted that they are easy to use. I love this type of diaper because it's fully adjustable from birth to potty training. I've taken pictures of the snaps at various sizes to show what they look like at different adjustments. These aren't all of them but I wanted to give you an idea!
Here is my toddler wearing it and as you can tell he has several more settings left to grow. He's is slim but I can easily see this fitting him unitl 4-5 year old! Maybe my biological son until 3-4.
Now to contrast this, here is the diaper on my 16 month old who is pretty chunky. This diaper fits around both of their legs fine. It doesn't dig into my baby's skin while it still fits snug enough around my slim son's legs to prevent leaks!

These also wash nice! Solids come off easily (I don't use a sprayer or anything I just tilt and dump the waste in the toilet). They've been through the wash a couple of times now and seem very durable! They are great!
Oh, and people ask the difference between these and Alva baby or other similar products sold on the internet. I can say these are much nicer quality, especially the inserts! :)
