A Citizen

Nataga officially became a US citizen today (he has been a permanent alien)!!! Yeah! We sent in his paperwork MONTHS ago (at least 9) and received his certificate today! We were beginning to worry that our paperwork had been lost or misplaced... Our mailman came to the door with an envelope that we had to sign for. When we saw the return address we were hoping that is what it was, and it was! Exciting stuff!

One Year Together

 

 

 

 

Last year on Easter we got to hold our son and meet him for the first time! It was the greatest joy we have experinced as a couple. Today marks one year for being together as a family of 3! It is a very exciting milestone for us!!!

I was going to make a video, etc. but with everything happening in our lives all I have time to do right now is post pictures. These were taken on Nati's gotcha day! The first one you can see what he was wearing when we arrived. They keep the babies VERY warm-- and take excellent care of them! If our son couldn't be with us during that time we are thrilled to know that he was able to be in Gladney's care center, it is wonderful!

 

We've Moved!!!

 

 

 

 

They put the finishing touches on our house and we were able to close recently!!! We are now living in a new home and love it-- and our new area! We had to put grass in the back yard and of course that means keeping it moist. The past days have not been good to play outside due to the grass taking root. Nati was starting to feel "trapped" in the house (as he loves being outdoors). Today it rained early on in the day so by the afternoon the grass was dry enough to play in. Nataga loved being outside!

What else is new? Nati learned how to whisper this week. Tonight is the first night I got to hear it. He whispered "goodnight" it is really cute!
