What a day

Wow what a sappy (sad and happy) day. The Ethiopian courts closed and a lot of families had court dates and waited to hear the outcomes of their adoptions. I didn't have to go to work today but did b/c my computer wouldn't open anybodies blog. Got to love dial up. Oh well at least I could go into work... anyway it was a mix of emotions as I waited to see the outcomes of court. A lot of families made it through but a few didn't. Most of who didn't were waiting to bring an older child home. It was so hard to see them not get approved as they have done so much to get things ready for an approval. I also know its so important for the older children to know that they have a forever family. My heart goes out to you who are in this situation. I can't tell you how sad I am for you and how much I wanted to see you get through. I hope that the days fly by until you get to your next court date. I know that you must be hurting so much right now and pray that God comforts you and your families.

On the flip side I am so excited b/c a lot of people who did get through court have been through a lot and its great to hear that they now will have their babies. I can't wait to hear about your trips and see more pictures. Congratulations!

So I guess in the adoption blog world it was a sappy day.
