Nothing
If the FBI list is correct, the last person to receive a referral received theirs on the 17th. Since then, there has been no movement. We'll see what's to come. David and I have both "given up" on waiting, NOT actually of course, I guess it's like the saying "if you watch the pot it will never boil". The wait consumes you after a while. Our referral will come when it is supposed to and when it does we will be ecstatic. Until then were not really thinking about it and talking about it too much. It's too hard otherwise.

You sort of get to the point where you stop believing it's really going to happen, don't you. Like you said, when it does happen, you'll be soo excited! Can't wait to read the post about that big day!
I am sorry for how hard this is - I have a long way to go but the lack of movement on the FBI actually got to me a bit this weekend. Hang in there!!

That was the exact place I was at right before we got our referral. I felt like I was being consumed with all the anticipation and stress of the wait. I had to let go of that and simply focus on preparing for our child. I jumped into busy work like painting her room and childproofing cabinets... it helped me pass the time and keep my mind occupied, and it helped me to focus on the joy of what our future held. Hang in there... trust in fate, your call is coming soon!
